We’re looking for a Senior IT Security Engineer — someone who knows when it’s time to sound the alarm and when someone has simply gone a little overboard with the severity rating.
We’re looking for a hands-on security professional who doesn’t just see that something is red on a dashboard, but understands what the real risk is and what actually needs to be done about it. Someone who can see the bigger picture, enjoys untangling complex problems, and doesn’t believe that “block it” or “the firewall will take care of it” is the right answer to everything.
If that sounds familiar, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
Responsibilities:
- You design, implement, and operate security controls across infrastructure, identity, endpoint, and cloud environments.
- You manage the full vulnerability management lifecycle, from assessment and prioritization to remediation tracking.
- You translate NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA, and GDPR requirements into effective, practical technical controls.
- You handle and investigate security incidents and develop incident response (IR) playbooks.
- You contribute to logging, monitoring, and detection strategies, and develop SIEM/SOC use cases.
- You participate in security architecture decisions, technology selection, and proof-of-concept (POC) projects.
- You document solutions and share knowledge, because relying on “we’ll just ask the person who set it up” rarely works in the long run.
Requirements to Perform the Job:
- We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of solid hands-on security experience, including projects you’ve independently taken from start to finish and real-world incident response experience.
- From a technical perspective, it’s a strong advantage if you’re comfortable working with: AD / Entra ID · MFA · Conditional Access · PKI · Azure / M365 Security · EDR/XDR · hardening · firewalls · network segmentation · VPN · NAC · SIEM · MITRE ATT&CK · threat hunting · DLP · vulnerability management · CVSS / EPSS · PowerShell / Python
- Certifications are, of course, welcome, but we’re not looking for a collection of badges. We’re much more interested in what you’ve actually done in real environments, what decisions you’ve made, and how you solve problems when, according to the documentation, everything should be working.
- We’d be happy to see at least two of the following: SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, MS-102, or a vendor-specific network security certification such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Check Point.
- Nice to have: SC-100, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, OSCP, or another hands-on offensive security certification.
- And a few things that genuinely matter to us:
- You don’t make changes to production systems without a backup and rollback plan.
- You can prioritize even when the report says everything is urgent.
- You’re willing to say when something is a bad idea — and preferably suggest a better alternative.
- You can talk about security in a way that people outside the security team can also understand.
What We Offer:
- A real say in security decisions. We don’t just want you to execute decisions someone else has already made — we genuinely want to know how you would approach things.
- A varied technology environment, where chances are you won’t be solving the same three problems over and over again.
- Professional autonomy and room to grow, because a senior role shouldn’t just mean a longer ticket queue.
- Hybrid and flexible working, because we don’t measure good work by the number of hours spent sitting in an office chair.
- Support for professional training, so you can keep up with the field — or at least try, given how quickly it moves.
- Language training opportunities if you’d like to become more confident using English.
- A modern, comfortable office environment that makes coming in feel less like a punishment on the days you’re not working from home.
- Private healthcare support, so booking a medical appointment hopefully doesn’t turn into a separate project plan.
- A competitive benefits package with elements you can actually use.
- And a friendly, supportive team where you can ask questions, challenge ideas, and think things through together.

We’re not looking for a security cop. We’re looking for an engineer and a teammate who knows how to build security without making the systems impossible to use.
