Bike to work! – cycling for sustainability in summer

This summer, Grepton joined the Bike to Work Challenge, which aims to get more people cycling to work. The programme combines health promotion, environmental awareness and community building - all three of which are also priorities for us.

This summer Grepton also joined the Bring your bike to work! challenge, which aims to encourage more people to choose a bike for their daily commute. The programme combines health promotion, environmental awareness and community building – all three of which are also priorities for us.

Participants record the distances they cover, so it is clear how much we can do together to reduce emissions. But cycling is not just about protecting the environment: it also gives you fresh energy, contributes to your well-being and strengthens community ties.

The enthusiasm at Grepton has been palpable from the start: eight of our colleagues are now regular cyclists – some daily, others once or twice a week. For us, the priority is not competition, but for everyone to contribute to the collective result at their own pace, according to their own lifestyle.

This initiative is closely aligned with our company’s company’s approach to sustainability and social responsibility. We believe it is important to encourage our employees to lead active, healthy lifestyles and to support initiatives that promote sustainability. In our day-to-day operations, we make a conscious effort to reduce our ecological footprint and support community programmes that have a real positive impact on our environment.

A Shuttle to work! represents exactly this value system: it offers a personal experience, community cohesion and measurable environmental benefits.

We’re on our way – we encourage everyone to join in, whether daily or occasionally, because every kilometre counts.
