We are looking for a lead developer for an international project

Location: Budapest | Hybrid working

We are now looking to expand our team with a lead developer who will work on an international project using globally market-leading software in their category and play a key role in managing the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating development teams and supporting their daily work
  • Liaising with international clients, planning work in English
  • Developing existing technologies, proactively suggesting new ideas and solutions
  • Carrying out and supporting development tasks
  • Solving developer problems quickly and confidently
  • Adopting a "quality over quantity" approach throughout the entire development process

Requirements to Perform the Job:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in development
  • Confident spoken and written English (essential for customer communication)
  • Knowledge of the following languages: Java, TypeScript
  • Experience with the following technologies: Docker, GIT
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Use of Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes
  • Good problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team
  • Enthusiasm for rapidly developing technologies, willingness to learn
  • Relevant higher education degree (or currently studying for one)

Advantages / Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL knowledge (basic level is sufficient)
  • Experience with Jenkins and unit testing
  • Knowledge of Scrum methodology
  • Business mindset, decisiveness, agility
  • AI technologies (e.g., Azure AI Services, AWS Bedrock)
